Giovanni Sala is the founder of Global MNS Solutions, a consulting network dedicated to advancing mental health, brain health, and substance use care worldwide. Through Global MNS Solutions, he works to bridge innovation and impact by helping organizations design, adapt, and scale ethical digital and AI-based mental health solutions that strengthen systems and expand access equitably across countries.

Giovanni also serves as a consultant for the World Health Organization’s Department of Mental Health, Brain Health and Substance Use, where he supports the design and implementation of national mental health reforms, advocacy strategies, and global partnerships.

Over the past decade, he has led and contributed to initiatives across Latin America, Africa, and Asia, with a focus on community-based care, system strengthening, and the integration of digital tools into mental health services.
