Kate Lambert (she/her) is a Program and Policy Development Specialist with the Mental Health and Addictions Division, Department of Health and Community Services (Government of Newfoundland and Labrador (NL)). Her portfolios include a primary emphasis on Bridge the gapp, including content management and co-leading its redesign, along with supporting other e-mental health initiatives. Kate is a knowledge translation (KT) specialist with eight years of experience as well as formal KT training through SickKids. She began her career with NL SUPPORT/Quality of Care NL at Memorial University’s Faculty of Medicine, consulting on the development of KT initiatives for patient-oriented research projects and authoring “Changing Health-Related Behaviors 4: Realizing Impact of Health Research through Knowledge Translation” in Clinical Epidemiology: Practice and Methods (3rd edition). She transitioned into a knowledge exchange role with the NL Centre on Substance Use at NL Health Services, supporting clinical substance use practice by implementing training and education sessions, facilitating networking opportunities, and brokering connections with subject matter experts across the province and country. Kate has a Master of Public Health from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador.
