Tracy Gagnon is a multi-talented Wellness Specialist who creates ground-up and top-down programs and events to support employee and leader wellness in the Government of Canada. Her team’s innovative ideas, passion, and grit have helped inspire a workplace culture with an enduring “Wellness Mindset”.

Tracy combines her degree in Journalism and her love for writing and public speaking, with her passion for wellness, earning certifications in fitness and self-defence as well as several mental health leadership certificates from the University of Ottawa, Queen’s University, Yale University and Excellence Canada. Most recently, she became a Certified Workplace Health and Performance Expert and a Leadership Challenge® Practitioner.

This well-rounded wellness advocate is an award-winning speaker who makes learning fun, interesting and interactive, while having serious messages and usable takeaways.

According to the 2025 Global Leadership Forecast, stress among leaders is surging, with 71% reporting a significant increase in their stress levels since stepping into their current role. Of those 71%, 54% are concerned about burnout—a psychological state characterized by emotional exhaustion, detachment, and reduced professional productivity.

Something needs to change. But what and how, when the world is changing at an extraordinary pace, with expectations on leaders to “keep up”—all while maintaining their own resilience and building a more human-centered workplace?

We have to start somewhere. This session outlines one, simple pilot project that has made a difference in small but measurable ways.
