Alex is an accomplished neurotechnologist that has more than 15 years of working experience in the field of neurotech. He has led the development of the first cloud-based EEG streaming and analytics platform to help neurologists monitor and screen epileptic seizures remotely using dry, wireless EEG technology combined with cloud and machine learning in 2015.

Alex has held many positions from software developer, architect to delivery manager, innovation lead, and CTO across different industries from mobile, telecom to digital media, neurotech and fintech. His core strength is translational research and application development in neuroscience leveraging EEG, mobility, cloud, and AI.

Alex is currently the CEO of an innovative neuro technology company called Divergence Neuro and has designed and conducted numerous research studies on different psychedelics using EEG to help understand how psychedelics impact our brains. He has personally led and overseen 3 research projects in this domain including DMT, ketamine, and gaming addiction. He has also invented and built a team to commercialize a clinical-grade remote neurofeedback platform for mental health professionals.
