Stuart Matan-Lithwick PhD is a research scientist, high school Biology teacher, youth mentor, an advocate for the blind, and a person with Retinitis Pigmentosa, a progressive blindness condition. Stuart considers his reduced vision to be his greatest asset rather than any kind of a liability. Stuart finds joy singing A Cappella with Toronto pop choir SoundCrowd, running long distances, and most of all spending time with his daughter, now almost 10 years old.
