Speaker Bio

Joy Chinasa Okeibunor is a dynamic trauma-informed coach and mental health speaker from Nigeria, transforming how African communities access healing and emotional support. With lived experience of PTSD, depression, and social anxiety, she brings unmatched empathy, authenticity, and insight to every session, creating spaces where participants feel truly safe, seen, and heard.

Her mission is bold: to bridge the gap between trauma and recovery through safe, culturally sensitive, and digitally accessible interventions. Joy has led impactful webinars, workshops, and public speaking sessions, reaching youth and adults across Africa, and consistently turning awareness into actionable transformation.

As a volunteer with LEAD Community Foundation, she mentors young people, drives mental health literacy, and spearheads community outreach campaigns. During her NYSC service and projects in Ebonyi State, she created high-impact programs that empowered vulnerable populations with psychoeducation, emotional regulation tools, and hope.

Joy leverages WhatsApp micro-communities, NLP techniques, and AI-assisted insights to deliver scalable, low-cost, trauma-informed mental health support—making professional care accessible to those who need it most. She is more than a speaker; she is a catalyst for transformation, inspiring resilience, agency, and lasting change wherever she engages.
