Sherfi Abdou is a proud father of two, an accomplished engineer, entrepreneur, and research leader with over 20 years of experience building innovative solutions at the intersection of technology, health, and sustainability.
As Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer at Tenomix, Sherfi is leading the transformation of cancer diagnostics through AI-powered automation. He also serves as General Manager of Business Development at IDEAWORKS, Mohawk College, where he drives external engagement, builds strategic relationships, and leads research partnerships across a wide range of sectors. Additionally, he is a co-founder of FloNergia Systems, which successfully brought an energy-efficient pumping solution to the aquaculture market.
With a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Sherfi has led high-impact R&D initiatives in computational fluid dynamics (CFD), microfluidics, and clean technologies, collaborating with academic and industry partners across North America.
