Dr Daniel Fung is a child and adolescent psychiatrist and also the CEO of the Institute of Mental Health, a 2000 bedded psychiatric facility in Singapore. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor at all 3 Singapore medical schools. Dr Fung is the Immediate Past President of the College of Psychiatrists, Academy of Medicine, Singapore (2021-2025) and Past President of the International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions (2018-2022). Dr Fung has written 36 books and co-authored over 210 peer reviewed research papers and book chapters. Dr Fung has been involved in the care of neurodiverse children through the setting up of a national community mental health programme which includes a patented novel treatment for ADHD. Dr Fung is married with 5 grown up children and 5 grandchildren.
