Juliët Holtschlag is policy advisor on digitalization at MIND, the national umbrella organization representing people with lived experience of mental health problems and their close ones in the Netherlands. Combining her own lived experience with her professional background in public health and social policy, her work focuses on the ethical, social, and experiential dimensions of digital innovation in mental health.

Juliët brings together research, lived experience, and advocacy to foster the responsible development and use of digital solutions, artificial intelligence and data exchange in the context of mental health and wellbeing. She strongly believes that meaningful innovation can only happen in co-creation with people with lived experience. By involving them as equal partners, digital tools and policies can truly reflect their needs, values and daily realities.

Driven by the belief that technology should enhance rather than replace human connection, Juliët aims to help build a digital future for mental health where technology amplifies empathy, strengthens trust, and supports human connection.
