Naomi is a Technology Lead in the Data for Science and Health team at Wellcome. She focuses on Wellcome’s strategy for funding digital tools, data platforms, and technologies that advance mental health research as well as broader research into public health. Naomi’s work at Wellcome includes generative AI in mental health, regulation of software as a medical device, and longitudinal datasets. Prior to joining Wellcome, she worked as a health economist with a background in health technology assessment, primarily in non-communicable diseases. Naomi is an experienced data analyst with a demonstrated history of healthcare research in the non-profit and government sectors. In particular, she has expertise in epidemiology, statistical modelling, policy analysis, and health outcomes research. Naomi has a BSc in Mathematics and MSc in International Health Policy & Health Economics.
