Kana Enomoto, Partner at McKinsey & Company and Director of Brain Health for the McKinsey Health Institute, is an internationally recognized expert in mental health, substance use, brain health, and the brain economy. As a leader of McKinsey's Behavioral Health Center of Excellence, Kana advises public and private sector healthcare stakeholders on reducing the burden of mental, neurological, and substance use disorders globally. As Director of Brain Health for MHI, she oversees research across brain health, including the brain economy transition, the role of AI in healthcare, sustainable financing, improved care pathways, and brain health in the workplace.

Prior to McKinsey, Kana served in the US Senior Executive Service and advised the White House, Secretary of Health, and Surgeon General. She also led the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, where she provided executive direction and policy leadership on mental health and substance use prevention, treatment, and recovery services.
