Dr Manasi Murthy Mittinty, a Harvard-trained physician-scientist and South Australia State Winner of the Women & Leadership Awards, is a leading voice at the intersection of chronic pain and mental health. Her work places a strong emphasis on culturally diverse and First Nations communities, driving transformative approaches to care that are deeply rooted in cultural understanding. With a commitment to personalizing healthcare, Dr Manasi Murthy champions strategies that integrate cultural, gender, and racial perspectives to improve the physical and mental well-being of patients and their families. She has recently joined the Disability and Health Unit as a Senior Research Fellow, where she continues to lead efforts toward more inclusive, impactful, and person-centred care.
