Deputy to the Assistant Chief Executive Officer of the CIUSSS de l’Est-de-l’Île-de-Montréal, Jennifer Dahak is also Co-Director of the new Provincial Center of Expertise in Information Technology for Mental Health, Addiction, and Homelessness (CETI-SMDI), a ministerial mandate entrusted as part of the Ministry of Health and Social Services’ Strategy for Accelerating and Integrating Digital Mental Health. Having established and operationalized the CETI-SMDI with her teams, she works toward the goal of increasing access by offering a range of digital mental health services available 24/7 through various scientifically validated innovations, including interactive websites, mobile applications, and connected health devices.
A transformational leader for the next generation in health and social services, Jennifer Dahak has over 15 years of experience in care and service organization, continuous improvement, as well as research, development, and innovation. A doctoral candidate in public health at the Université de Montréal, she also holds a Master’s degree in Health Services Administration, an additional diploma in evaluation, and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Management from UQAM. Her research interests include organizational and implementation sciences, digital innovations, and collaborative care.
She also serves as a clinical teaching supervisor, welcoming interns and promoting the university's mission in all its forms daily. Involved in several national and governance initiatives, she actively contributes to simplifying complex concepts, promoting knowledge transfer, and building sustainable partnerships in research and with industry.
