Dr. Patricia Lingley-Pottie is the co-founder, CEO, and President of the Canadian charity, Strongest Families Institute (SFI) and SFIs IRIS technology. She holds a PhD from Dalhousie University, where she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and a Scientist at the IWK Health Centre.

With 37 years of pediatric nursing experience, Dr. Lingley-Pottie is a leader in emental health (eMH), a pioneer in pediatric and family-centered distance interventions using best science, paraprofessional telephone support coaches and technology to remove barriers to care. SFI's programs and IRIS technology have been co-designed and validated in clinical trials, internationally. SFI’s stepped care model provides universal MH support across the continuum. SFI's IRIS dynamic system personalizes and tailors program content using AI for an engaging user experience.

She has authored 36 publications and has recognized for her contributions (e.g , Canada's Governor General’s Innovation Award; Dalhousie Aurum Award; Ernst C. Manning Award; Council of the Federation for Innovation in MH Award; eMHIC Leadership Excellence; Woman Leader in Digital Health; Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal).
