Rupesh Shah is a mission-driven executive with over 25 years of experience leading organizations and teams that build software and data solutions across climate, education, agriculture, and mental health. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Crisis Text Line, a global nonprofit providing free, 24/7, confidential mental health support via text now focusing on expanding its service to the Global South. Prior to this, he held senior product leadership roles at Granular (a Corteva company), Khan Academy, Intuit, and several early-stage ventures focused on solar energy and inclusive finance.

Rupesh’s career has centered around the intersection of technology, social impact, and sustainability. He’s led teams building products used by millions, with a deep focus on user empathy, data-informed decision-making, and scalable impact. His work has spanned both global markets and the U.S., with special attention to the Global South.

Rupesh holds a BA from UC San Diego and an MBA from Kellogg (Northwestern). He serves on the boards of De La Gente and CASC Leadership, and advises and coaches high potential startups through Rippleworks. Rupesh also teaches sustainability to MBA students, helping the next generation of leaders integrate climate thinking into core business strategy.
