My presentation will cover working alongside the Government, businesses, community organisations and those with lived experience to facilitate policy design and implementation. It will cover the current developments in the New Zealand context, and why bringing a human element to design is crucial for successful implementation. This includes building public trust and perception around digital services with a grassroots approach. My presentation will cover the first ever men’s health report for New Zealand produced by charity Movember, social media, economic and political context challenges. It will also detail my personal lived experience and how digital services provide a sustainable and attainable solution, particularly for those living rurally or are marginalised due to stigma. It will build on my presentation from last year to give a more thought provoking discussion in the context of New Zealand.
